December 12: Syrah Wine Perspective

Washington wines present a great value and you can taste an example next to the same grape from other regions. 

Discover the history of Washington wine while tasting a Syrah from the region alongside the same wine from Texas and Europe. This comparative tasting will give you a perspective on the terroir that makes each wine region unique.

December 19: Air Fryer Magic

Did you know you can cook everything from a turkey breast to chocolate chip cookies in an air fryer and never turn on the oven and heat up your kitchen? Watch demonstrations with different styles of air fryers and discuss the pros and cons of each. Sample dishes such as roasted pork loin, brussel sprouts, and cake.

November 21: What Happens When Wine Ages

Learn what happens when wine ages, how to properly store wine for aging, and how to know if you should age a wine. Includes aged wines alongside their younger counterparts.

October 24: Music & Wine Pairing

If wine can be enhanced by food, and if a beautiful tasting room setting allows you to enjoy a glass of wine just a little bit more, it stands to reason that music could amplify the enjoyment of your wine as well. Join us for a thoughtful tasting of 4 wines paired with music. We’ll discuss how music and ambiance affect what’s in your glass.

October 31: Merlot Wine Perspective

Join us for a deep dive into Merlot wines. Whether Merlot is your favorite or you’ve not yet found a bottle you love, this workshop will help you understand the grape, teach you what to look for, and let you sample four examples from different regions. The lineup includes Amiable Wines Napa. This comparative tasting will give you a perspective on the terroir that makes each wine region unique.

November 7: Planting your Fall Garden

Because the best yard just takes a little planning. Learn from our resident gardener, Lisa, which trees grow well in the Texas hill country and should be planted in the fall. Many trees can be planted year round, but some really thrive when put in the ground in October or November. Learn helpful planting strategies to boost your likelihood of a successful tree.
